James is a Board certified Family Nurse Practitioner.  He received his degree in 2013 from the University of Mary—Bismarck, ND, and has practiced in the Oakes community since 2013.  Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, he served in the US Navy and US Air Force and retired in 2006 after 22 years in the military.

His services cover patients with a variety of diagnoses, providing age-appropriate holistic care for newborns to geriatrics, including wellness, acute care, injections/aspirations, minor procedures, wound care, sports physicals and DOT physicals.

James joins board certified internal medicine physician Dr Katie O’Brien.  Their practice is located inside CHI Oakes Hospital at 1200 N 7th Ave in Oakes.  The clinic is open 8am to 5pm Monday – Friday.  The clinic accepts most insurance carriers and refers patients to all major regional healthcare facilities.
