On March 13, 2020, in response to President Trump’s declaration of a national emergency, and following CDC guidelines, the Oakes Community Hospital Foundation (OCHF) made the difficult decision to postpone Casino Night, which had been scheduled for March 13. Now, due to continued community spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus across North Dakota, and in conversation with hospital leadership and staff, OCHF has decided to cancel this year’s event entirely.
We have a wonderful variety of donated items which were scheduled to be on our silent and live auctions at Casino Night. We are currently making plans for a series of online auctions on our website, www.oakeshospital.com. We plan for the first auction to begin on Friday, April 3, at noon, and conclude on Sunday, April 5, at 8:00 p.m. Details will be shared soon on the hospital website and our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/OakesCommunityClinic.
Please know that we value you, our community, and all those that walk through our hospital doors, now more than ever. Our primary job is to help provide the vital resources to keep excellent, affordable care accessible to everyone that needs it throughout Oakes and beyond. We will be working with each of our sponsors, donors, and ticket holders over the next few weeks to ensure their continued participation and support of future events.
Thank you to those who purchased trip raffle tickets this year. We did hold the drawing as scheduled and the winner was Judy German of Mapleton, ND. She has chosen the Southern Charm trip to Savannah, Georgia. Congratulations, Judy!
Thank you so much for your continued support of CHI Oakes Hospital Foundation. Your gift makes a positive difference for the patients and families who visit CHI Oakes Hospital and Clinic every day.
